In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans are being crippled financially and economically. With the lack of attention to the way China handled the spread of this pandemic from start to finish, they need to be held accountable. The United States should consider defaulting on its loan payments to the Chinese and or have the debt completely forgiven. Regardless, at a minimum, the United States should enter into negations for the cause of their negligence. China has caused already an estimated $2.73 trillion in debt. This eclipses the $1.1 Trillion of U.S. debt they own. Restitution needs to be paid.
